what sounds better, on what?
wma sounds great on a computer, mp3 sounds best on an mp3 player as thats what the configuration is made for, and wav sounds good on newer broad band, since thats what IT was configured for... it depends on what you're playing them on,

No it won't. Going from wav to mp3 the standard loss is with the help of the fact the sound report gets compressed and has advice taken out. Going any different way will save the standard the comparable. quite not greater high quality would be extra.

they all sound the same, but you can adjust settings on each format. .mp3 filesize is usually larger and is more compatible these days with media players on computers and portbale devices..

they all sound close to great but the file sizes are different and most players will play certain types

To me the difference is imperceptible. They all sound great!!!
I think the real difference is the amount of space each type uses.
