I have a situation described below:

I have a digital cable box, a DVD writer, and a DVD + VCR combo.

I made a connection as follows:

Digital cable Antenna TO Cable Box RF-In.
Cable Box RF-out TO DVD writer RF-in
DVD writer RF-Out TO (DVD + VCR) combo RF-in
(DVD + VCR combo) RF-Out To TV

Now I can copy TV programs using my DVD writer.
But I cannot copy anything (not copy protected), I am playing on TV from my (DVD + VCR) combo.

Can anybody help me?

I found it amusing to short out large capacitors, as it makes a loud noise and large sparks. I'm always afraid that in doing this, it might damage my capacitor.

How does it do in bad weather (snow, rain, windy or cloudy conditions) and which company would you reccommend... I was going for Dish Network because it was cheaper than Directv ( on comparison of Dish Network's America's Top 120 w/120 channels and DirecTV's Total Choice Package w/155 channels). But I don't mind the prices because they are both cheaper than what I'm paying for Time Warner Cable right now which is $54.00 without tax

Ham radio used to be invaluable for emergency communications. But with the proliferation of cell phones, this aspect of amateur radio may not be as important as it used to be.

If cow farts are pure methane and contribute to the hole in the ozone layer as bad as they say, why dont we raise cows in enclosed pens and harness the methane to use as fuel? Seems to me we could kill 2 birds with one stone. What do you think?

I think wireless service ticks me off. It is 2006. I think that there should be service everywhere and no dropped calls. I mean people could breakdown in rural town and have no service. Be stuck for a long time. I guess I am venting sorry here.

But what ticks you off about technology?
