My car came with 3 inches, 5 degrees, etc. Those are measurements. Your DVD player didn't come with 9v, maybe a power supply. Anyway, I think the following explanation might help anyway.

I'll assume I don't need to explain basic electricity (a simple web search can tell you if not). Voltage is measured in volts, and of course 9v is a common battery size. Amps measure current. A power supply would have an amp rating for the maximum it can produce. Maybe that's what your 2.2A is. Or it could be the required current of the player, but that seems high. A rechargeable "9v" battery may have a lower voltage than 9V (maybe that is 7.4v). I know common AA rechargeable are 1.2 instead of 1.5v. The 336 maH is a battery capacity measurement, as in milli ampere hours. Or 0.336 ampere hours. That means the battery could supply 0.336 amps for an hour, or half that for 2 hours, etc. It is really a measure of charge. A Coulomb is an ampere second as a measure of charge.
