i have this very old cd player that doesnt play mp3 but plays only the original cd's: for eg. if i buy a eminem cd which has only 12-13 tracks then that cd player can play, but otherwise it cant. so i want to know how to encode mp3 into that format [first of all which is that format] and wat tool shud i use to do that. NE HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

I dunno how long could I charge that 30GB, 5th generation Ipod..
But as I look at the Apple site..it says 1 and half hour for 80GB..How about the 30GB? Is it the same as 80GB?

its lagging. sometimes when i press something it doesn't happen. i have to press the button like 5 billion times until it starts to do its job. But i figured it wasn't the button that was broken its something else because i was listening to music and when i went to bring the volume up it went it up, but the light didn't turn on. Same thing when i skip to the next song, it'll skip but stays dark. This only happens occasionally. what should i do to get this fixed?! i don't have the receipt anymore >.< i bought this thing in December..so i kind of misplaced it. So please help. what could be the problem?

also, i DO NOT want to here zune basher's/ipod lovers. you guys are annoying. I love my zune, and i just want to fix this problem.

i had too many songs on my library, so it said "we will make a list for you"

For some crazy reason, not all of the songs that I have selected are loading onto my iPod. I've tried unselecting them all and then selecting them again, plugging my iPod in several times, etc. What's the deal?? 10 pts to the first answer that works. Help!

Yesterday I was listening to my Ipod & afterwards I turned it off.
Later on that day I went to turn it back on to listen to it & it didn't turn on. Im completely lost on what happened. Can someone help me here with it & tell me what happened?

I have downloaded an MP4 file off of Limewire and transferred to Itunes, and can watch it in there, but when it is syncd to my Ipod..it will only play the audio of the movie.

my ipod mini will charge for about 10 hours. then it says it's fully charged. when i start listening to it, after 10 minutes, it says there's no battery and then shuts off. when i turn it on again, the battery is empty and shuts off again. i try restoring it on itunes but i get this stupid message error thing (1418) i try installing the cd for the ipod mini again, but then i still get it =( what should i do? btw, the stores don't sell ipod minis anymore and they can't exchange it...

I just bought an 30 gig video ipod. I charge it once a day and sometimes is takes many hours. However, one time I managed to get it to charge very quickly when the backlight is off. Every other time the backlight turns on during charge and it prolongs the charging period. Is there any way possible to turn off the backlight during charge?
