its lagging. sometimes when i press something it doesn't happen. i have to press the button like 5 billion times until it starts to do its job. But i figured it wasn't the button that was broken its something else because i was listening to music and when i went to bring the volume up it went it up, but the light didn't turn on. Same thing when i skip to the next song, it'll skip but stays dark. This only happens occasionally. what should i do to get this fixed?! i don't have the receipt anymore >.< i bought this thing in December..so i kind of misplaced it. So please help. what could be the problem?

also, i DO NOT want to here zune basher's/ipod lovers. you guys are annoying. I love my zune, and i just want to fix this problem.

I would'nt know what your problem is. If you bought the thing in December you might still be good with a warranty. Open up your Zune Media Player and click on the Zune help. By the way, I just bought the Zune today and it is awsome. Sound quality is great. Hope you can get your Zune to work.

Have you upgraded to the latest Zune firmware? I believe it is v1.2. When Zune Marketplace recognizes your Zune, if you click on one of the top menus (not sure which one) you have an option to update it. Also, when you try to sync it, it should alert you if your firmware is out of date.

And no, bosox, not "ipod ftw". I work at Best Buy, and you have no idea how many people have come in with iPods which are lagging so much you'd think they need a soft reset. Please keep your fanboyism separate from your answers.

iPod ftw. I recommend calling Microsoft and just simply asking them about it, this should work fine.
