my ipod mini will charge for about 10 hours. then it says it's fully charged. when i start listening to it, after 10 minutes, it says there's no battery and then shuts off. when i turn it on again, the battery is empty and shuts off again. i try restoring it on itunes but i get this stupid message error thing (1418) i try installing the cd for the ipod mini again, but then i still get it =( what should i do? btw, the stores don't sell ipod minis anymore and they can't exchange it...

I actually just had this problem on my 3rd Gen Ipod, 1st Gen Ipod Shuffle, and I know this is a huge problem with Itunes 7 and windows. But I found a solution. Check out this link. I wrote a thing about it on my personal blog, so I hope it helps you out.

OMG?!? I also had that kind of problem. so wat's ur plan?^^ My plan is to buy a battery and find someone who knows how to change ipod mini batteries. can you PM me if you found a store selling ipod mini batteries? Oh, are you from the Philippines?

um well they dont make any minis anymore for that reason i recommend an nano or maybe u could find a battery pack somewhere

i had the same exact problem with my mini. unfortunatly, there isnt really anything you can do to fix it. i ended up just buying a 30gb video ipod.

send it to the company and tell them about it they have to replace it or fix it its got a warrenty
