i had too many songs on my library, so it said "we will make a list for you"
i deleted that list, so is there a way to put my songs back on..or is it a lost cause?

You can use a program called "music rescue" to restore all your songs from your iPod to your computer, then just drag all to iTunes and your library will have all the songs as in your iPod.
