Yes, download pod-casts from a website (Podcast.net has a bunch of them). Put them onto iTunes. Goto "Edit - Preferences - Parental Control" and make sure Podcasts are enabled.

Yes, if you have a nano you can listen to podcasts and if you have a video you can also put video podcasts on it. You can download them free at the itunes store.

you have to add the podcasts to your itunes library.
