whats the official name for the hard drives

I heard from a sales guy at best buy that the 60 gig was overheating so they put a new chip set in the 80 gig to keep the heat down on it. I have no idea if this is even true. anyone know?

Im a big Rachet and Clank fan and they just came out with a new gane for ps3 and it looks pretty awesome and I've always kinda been a playstation guy but all my friends have X-box 360's and and most important halo 3 i have never owned or played a halo game for more than a few minutes and the new one looks pretty awsome too at this point money is not an issue I have enough for either one and one game I dont know which one to buy Im a huge Rachet and Clank fan but ive never experienced halo and it seems cool your thoughts on wut i would like more

I think HDMI upscales (or at least makes look better) DVDs, right? Does component do the same or does even HDMI do it?

I have a PS3, and althought DVD's and games play fine on my TV, blue ray movies come out in black and white (no matter what I change the video settings to).

I have a 24" CRT tv, and its connection via scart.

The PS3 has the latest firmware, and it happens with all blue ray movies.

HELP PLEASE!

I have Windows Media Player 11 and I have sharing enabled and my PS3 is recognized as an "unknown device" with a green check next to it. I used to be able to stream from my PC to PS3 but now I can't. It may have something to do with Norton Internet Security 2007 that I just installed but I can't figure out what to do. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks.

I just bought him this game he wanted. Brand new game purchased at WalMart. He put it in his PS2 and after a few minutes got the message "Disc Read Error". He has numerous other games, some old, some new, and all of them work just fine in his PS2. Any ideas what could be wrong? Suggestions? Advice?

I just got it in on gamefly, and I put it in my ps3 to play a little before going to bed. Man, that game freaked the **** out of me. Yeah the graphics could have been better, and it lags a little, but that little girl and the music and weird sh*t happening all around is a little freaky. Tell me what you think...
