Yes it should. Check your voltage, also on the ps3 check your output as europe uses PAL standard and a US uses Ntsc. THe ps3 games are region free, there is no regional coding, but you might have problems playing ps2 games on it since the ps2 uses region coding

It will only play EU PS3 discs.
EU PS2 discs, PS1 discs, and dvd's will not play (they are region locked).
It's best to get a PS3 from your own region )less problems that way). If you're just visiting then it should work as long as you get the voltage adapter.

Mine does. I have US PS3 here, no problems with PS3 games (they are region free). PS1/2 games and movies aren't region free, but you can find them in some stores. All you'll need is a good bulky 500W 220V->110V 50hz->60hz converter.

Look at the input voltage, if it's 100-240V then you will only need an adaptor to plug it into...My laptop works fine here as you can see ;)
