who has been through this, i have been through 3 RROD, i was thinking of getting an elite because i heard it won't get the RROD or you have better chances of not getting, so what are some really good ps3 games

I am trying to decide which game console to buy, PS3, Xbox 360 or the Wii. I can afford the Wii but i can only afford the 40gb model of the ps3 and the 20gb model of the xbox 360. i really like sports, fighting and racing car games and my whole house has wireless internet. I really need help in deciding which console to get.
Please Advise...

me and my brother r deciding if we want our mom 2 buy us the xbox 360 elite or playstation 3 for chrismas and we cant decide.......so i would love 2 hear wat people think!!!!! Thanx

Because:

-It has same graphics as your computer game could have!
-It is expensive
-First release of every game is on PC
-It is not programmable and flexible as a PC is
-We can download mods for PC but not for PS/Xbox

I wna to know what better. Which system has the best games( Halo sucks) regarding FPS and madden 2008 and other baseball games. I want to go online as well. Are they just a rip off? i like the ps3 and i like the 360,i already have a wii but i just got it for smash bros brawl. the ps3 does not have any really great games out for it,i know it sounds weird but im not into metal gear i do like heavenly sword and ninja gaiden sigma.if i do get a ps3 i could just play my wii untill better ps3 games come out.

now theres the 360,better shooters and i already pre ordered naruto rise of a ninja.i dont mine paying for online.i love the 360,but i dont want to hassle with the (red rings of death),i dont want to have my disk scratched up and i dont want to have to go through all these precautions just to play my 360 examples,you have to put it horizontal or it cant be on the carpet.i dont want to be playing rise of a ninja and then my 360 freezes

ps ( i hate halo)
