What is the difference PSP original battery and the Pandora battery? Also, can I use any usb cable or do I have to get the PSP usb cable?

People that "hack" their psp's software run the risk of "bricking it", or rendering it useless by corrupting the files. Pandoras battery is simply an altered version(can be done by software or hardware) of the original psp battery, that works with files on your memory stick to unbrick your psp.
Second question, any mini usb cable will work

the pandora battery is a psp battery thats been modified (as the previous poster said). the psp battery contains a memory chip. this memory chipped is programmed to activate the memory stick, before the psp boots up. by activating the memory stick, it then can over right the files that are stored on the internal memory of the psp.
when you modify the battery to run the coding, then this is now considered a memory stick.

there is also another way to make one called a hardmod.
the hardmod requires you to open up the battery, and cut a pin. this pin then stops the psp from booting up, and forces a mem stick bootup.

The difference between the regular battery and Pandora's battery, is that Pandora's battery claims to unbrick ANY PSP with ANY firmware. You also need a PSP USB, or if you're lucky, a SONY Digital Camera one should work.
