I know this question has been asked before but that was months ago - anyone bought one recently? Do the controllers now rumble or have the feature to rumble that can be switched on?

The PS3 isnt gonna come with controllers that rumble my friend, they took that out for the SixAxis feature, Ive had my PS3 for two months and I dont really miss the rumble...
Apparently it will be coming soon, i stand corrected...

I don't think there are rumble controllers yet but Sony has made up with Immersion, the company who own the technology, so there should be some soon. Also a simple patch will allow older games to have rumble.

The firmware to add rumble abilities to games already exists (ratchet and clank uses rumble features) and is currently dated for November in japan and other areas in spring 08.

Rumble in PS3 controlls will be available through import from Japan in November. In early 2008, the controllers containging rumble will be available in teh US, and will ship with consoles.

Dualshock 3 is going to be available in Europe and US in the beginning of 2008. Japan is getting it in this November. I heard, that japanese white 40GB PS3 is coming with Dualshock 3.

why would you want a ps3??? sure it may have better specs than the 360, but the fact is there is no quality games and online game play is craptacular!!! Remember when the ps2 fanboys complained that the 360 was a big ugly black box, now look whos console is a hunk of ****... the ps3. And if your actually smart and keep your xbox 360 ventilated it wont overheat, its cause nubs just shove their 360 into their crammed tv stands and wonder why they break! long live xbox 360!
