I'm trying to decide between the MotoKRZR and the LG VX8600. Which one would you recommend and why?

What does it mean when you are trying to buy a cell phone and it says Locked or Not Locked? also, can I buy any cell phone and have it work with my provider? oh, and my provider is sprint, if that helps, THANKS

I was out of state and thru online classifieds found a phone for sale in my home town. I had my girl friend buy it for me. After she took it home and charged it, she found that the phone was still active. I called the owner (the person I bought it from) and told her the situation and she told me that she called Verizon to cancel but they were gonna charge her to cancel the contract and since it was a 2nd phone on her family plan she said that I could pay her $10 a month and get 700 mins. I told her, I only need the phone. She said she will call verizon and work something out .... well its been 3 weeks, she is not returning my phone calls... i call her like everyday... I called Verizon - they said they cant do anything since she hasnt cancelled. I cant use the phone cos its not mine. I cant sell it, verizon called her thru a 3 way conference and she told them she didnt sell any phone. I dont know where she lives. I cant get in contact with her ...what can I DO????? I hope it makes sense

I have a contract with Sprint that I'm handcuffed to for the next 2 years. I got a new phone, but it was stolen. I thought I had insurance, but I apparantly had the wrong kind. So now they want to screw me hard in order for me to get a new phone. Does anyone have any place online where I can get a cheap new/reconditioned phone without having to buy a plan?

ive bought a phone in france and im on the SFR pay as you go network, unfortunately i dont know what the phone number is - and there is no way to find out on the phone (sagem VS4 - yeah old but im only here for 6 months lol) is there a code u can tap in to find the number (e.g. *#100# if on vodafone network). thanks

My grandfather has decided its time for him to consider getting a cell phone (apparently they are going to be doing away with pay phones!). I've been trying to figure out what the best company for him would be. He has a landline so he doesn't need thousands of minutes. However, I live out of town and so does one of his sons & we are both on Verizon. But I just want to make sure he has reliable service where-ever he is in case of emergencies. What about phones? He likes high-tech but in reality he doesn't know how to use all those features. He doesn't need an MP3 player or navigation or anything. What about pre-pay companies? If you have suggestions from experience with companies or phones I appreciate the help! Thanks!

Sometimes my phone works fine, and most of the time I cannot call out even though I have full bars. My wife has the same phone, and sometimes we will be right next to eachother, both phones have full bars, and I cant make a call....But she can.
