i have a cingular cell phone, its the samsung sgh-c417 and i keep getting fricken missed calls from this number: 1-712-945-0176. i want to bloack it but i dont wanna have to pay money witch the cingular people said it would. HOW DO I BLOCK IT???

i think its them things where it calls like 20 #'s and the first one to answer it connects with because when i called it back it never did anything it said CINGULAR WAS UNABLE TO CONNECT YOUR CALL. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER OR CHECK THE NUMBER YOU DIALED. GOOD BYE.

there is no way you can block number, i have same problem with t mobile, then i called to cs, but they said there's nothing they can do.

they said it would cost you money to block it? i'd argue that. they are then letting the person harass you- basically giving him permission to let him call you all the time. they should block it for free. if anything, just put that number in the phone under the name Dont Answer.

I don't think you can. My suggestion is call that number and ask them to stop calling your number and perhaps they will realize they are calling a wrong number.

you can just change your number!! everywhere i look it says they cant not do this unless you purchase ther product or pay some kind of fee sorry
