It probably differs with what was in the contract that you signed. If the issue is just dealing with a high bill you may see if you can just drop some features, or get on to a cheaper plan. I'm not too happy with Cingular my self but it was going to be too expensive to get out of my contract.

It is $200. Even if you actually saved less. They have an offer of a free month if you sign a contract. It still costs $200 if you break it.

I think it might be $225. However you might see how long you have till the contract is up and consider dropping it down to the minimum and just riding the contract out.
