samsung's sch-a930 from verizon can get ringtones, i was told by a relative that they cant but i dont know for sure. so does this phone have the ability to get ringtones?

When I send a text message, one of two symbols appear. One is a green arrow, and the other is a black check. What is the difference? I think that a black check means it was delivered to a phone, but does that mean it was actually read?

I just want to give a phone as a gift but don't want to put a plan or anything on it and let the person choose the carrier and plan. I can't seem to find anywhere I can get just a phone and not a plan with it.

Everyone I know on T-mobile (family and friends) have had problems with calls and texts on T-mobile since yesterday morning.I live in South wales. Phone can show full signal strength but will not connect. Every now and again it is ok but generally useless. I have contacted T-mobile and they said to phone back in a weeks time if there's still a problem. Absolute waste of time !

I've just changed my mobile phone and am beginning ot regret it! The old mobile was Siemens MC60. When entering text on that, if you inserted a full stop it would automatically make the next letter a capital to start a new sentence.

The new mobile is Sagem MyC4-2 which does not appear to have this facility. Ok, I know I'm being picky but does anyone know whether the Siemens feature is reasonably standard?

My girlfriend has a v3 and every time something is sent by bluetooth it dissapears? It goes to the phone and if it is pics/mp3s they can be seen and heard but when you come back to them there gone. Is there a folder that all bluetooth is saved to (there is on my mda) if so where is it? There are at least 3 images and 5 mp3 missing.

I'm trying to transfer from my LG VX8100 to my new LG VX8300 cell phone. They both have slots for SD cards but each uses a different format than the other (not that it matters since I can't seem to save files from the 8100 to my existing SD card).

Both phones are equipped with Bluetooth so maybe that's a possibility, but I can't seem to be able to pair either cellphone with my laptop.

And I don't see any USB ports on either phone. The AC adapter plugs for each phone are different in size.

My wireless provider did (for a fee) transfer phone numbers from my old phone to the new phone but wouldn't do the same for audio and video files.

Ideas anyone? Thanks.

I just got this phone and I'm not sure if I want to keep it. Does anyone know if the mp3 sound is good, b/c it doesn't seem like it is, and how do you download the songs? I know you need a memory and a connection device, but where do you find the connection device? I'm just not sure if it is worth keeping, what do you think. If not do you know a phone that has good mp3 sound from T-mobile? Thanks!

I was told before leaving from India, that the SIM card would automatically go into roaming once I leave the country. It doesn't appear to have done that as there is NO signal! Where I am in States (Virginia), there are plenty of mobile service providers - so signals shouldn't be an issue - esp. since this NOKIA 6610 was bought here in states. I even tried to manually click "international roaming" under HUTCH services options. Is there any hope of this SIM card or have I lost all the money I deposited? I won't be returning to India for a long while.

I'm looking to buy a prepaid cell phone simply because I don't use a cell phone enough to pay a monthly bill. I had a T-Mobile prepaid phone, and I would use $10 a month in minutes. Now I'm looking for a new phone because mine was rained on and doesn't ring anymore. We've tried drying it out and everything. It just doesn't work well anymore. What would be a good prepaid phone to go with, as far as the price of minutes goes?
