if you contact o2 they will charge you i think it is 15 pound but they will only give it to you after you have been with them for about a yr go to a store that unlocks them there is a store near to were i live that unlocks phones so you can use any network they charge 7 pound and upwards depending what phone it is

O2 will provide you with the code if you contact them but there will be a charge.
Or you could try a little mobile phone shop/market stall and they would unlock it for a small charge, can effect your warrenty this way

contact a o2 shop and they will give you a phone number to ring plus there are all different catches like you will have had to spend €120 on call credit and the phone will have had to cost you at least €130 for them to unlock it for you, you would think that all them money grabbing arseholes at o2 would do it for free, i tried the same thing last week here in Ireland

1.go to the settings, in security folder type the unlock code
2.go to the shop from where did u purchase the sim card, ask them to unlock it
