Same Thing Happened To Me , I was told by the company that I had gotten the phone wet at the plug in, I know I didn't, so she kept trying to get it to charge, Finally she said well it must be the battery, which I had just purchased one several month's before, But I did go ahead and get another one ,, it didnt work either ,, it was still doing the same thing you said your's is doing.. I took a Q-tip and cleaned out the area where the plug is located .. I think I had just not charged it properly on many occasions, it was pretty drained at one point before this started happening , and thats what it was doing, or that's how it started ,, I just kept charging it .. and It works now .. Shut the home off and on ,, and charge it ;; You Might have to get a new battery ..
Great Question
This Is One Annoying Thing

Probably means that the battery is dead. Is it an old phone? Do you leave it plugged in all the time? These are two possible reasons for a non-chargeable battery. Does the phone turn on if you leave it plugged in?

Sounds like your battery won't hold a charge. Have you had it a while? If so, you may need to replace it But that's expensive, and it might make sense to get a whole new phone.

It probably means that current will go into your phone's battery but it will not travel from the battery to your phone. Take it to the place you bought it and have them send it in to get repaired.

When your cell says charge complete it means that you have charged it to its fullest potential.
When you turn it off, then obviously your phone shuts off.
If you don't want you phone to shut off, then don't turn you phone off.

You should take it to an authorized sales rep and have them look at it.
