I'm looking to buy a prepaid cell phone simply because I don't use a cell phone enough to pay a monthly bill. I had a T-Mobile prepaid phone, and I would use $10 a month in minutes. Now I'm looking for a new phone because mine was rained on and doesn't ring anymore. We've tried drying it out and everything. It just doesn't work well anymore. What would be a good prepaid phone to go with, as far as the price of minutes goes?

Virgin Mobile works best for me. 18 cents a minute on my plan...NO other monthly fees!! Your service lasts 90 days!! (Most all other plans have a 60 day limit.) All the bells and whistles, caller ID, text, call waiting tones, voicemail, etc..works everywhere for me. (Unlike Sprint/Nextel that is flaky except in the larger cities.)

Personally, I like what Alltel has to offer: 15-cents per minute, but the minutes do not expire! ::yay:: Most pre-paids have minutes that will expire either in 30 or 60 day increments. And you can refill at any Alltel store at any time, or buy a refill card.

They also have other plans where you can pay per day, per minute, or by month. Check out the link below.

Sure, you can get a plan with cheaper minutes, but their minutes will run out...

Virgin Mobile 10 cents a minute but there is a catch 6.99 will be deducted from your account every month but you spend more if you do 18 cents per min. with no monthly deduction

I would desire to disagree with Princess. I actually have a Tracphone and it works large for my purposes. I infrequently use my telephone and in maximum instances I in no way flow over the minutes on their $20 enjoying cards with an hour of airtime and 3 months of provider. this suggests I land up paying approximately $8 consistent with month for my cellular telephone! As on your uncle, if it says it comes with $40 of unfastened airtime then that's what he gets. whilst he makes use of up the airtime he will would desire to purchase greater.
