Cell Phones & Plans - August 2006

Is there any way of setting up my D500 so that I don't have to 'pair' with other phones when using bluetooth? At the moment, myself and anyone I am exchanging data with needs to put in corresponding codes before transferring data. I am assuming this is a safety feature so I can't be sent info I don't want, but is there any way of deactivating it?

I'm planning to buy my mom a 6070 because I just want a basic phone for her(she's not a techy person). I'm eyeing for SE310i bcoz the sound quality is surely good.But if 6070 has the same sound quality as 6230 or SE310i, I would definitely go for 6070. Guys wana help me out? thanks so much!

I dropped my Motorola V260 (really hard, against a wall). The phone still works; it can receive phone calls and dial out. But the screen doesn't work. I have another unit - the same model. It is inactive. Can I switch chips on the phones, so that the inactive (operable) phone becomes my active phone, with all the data ported over?

...ergonomically friendly? What I mean is that most cell phones put out electromagnetic radiation that isn't that good for your brain when exposed to it for a long time, as well as cause toxicity in your body. I was wondering if there were any cell phones that are safe in this reguard.

Verizon....is yanking my chain. My cell phone died, and even though they have been taking my $6 every month for insurance coverage, they refuse to replace my phone, because they don't make my model anymore. Why have they been taking my money, if my phone isn't covered by their insurance policy? They refuse to help me! Anyone else have problems with Verizon?

My T-Mobile service frequently drops calls, and Sprint has a good deal currently on new phones for a Family Plan. If somebody currently is using Sprint, I'd appreciate a review of the service and reception, particularly in the Dallas area ( I live to the northwest of Dallas).
My husband travels to the UK and to Las Vegas and occasionally to other parts of the world and the U.S. Does Sprint have good national and international coverage? Any info on their customer service and phones? I'm considering the Sprint PCS Vision Ready Link Samsung A640 Phone with Bluetooth. Thanks for any information.
