so my two year contract is almost over and i was just wondering about getting a new phone...can i get any phone free or only some?...and will verizon inform me about the discounts?

Well, you can get a free phone, but only some phones are free. If you want a nice, cool phone like the RAZR cheap, go to overstock.com and chose phones or click the link below.
If you would like to look at the phones that verizon wireless has offered for free, go to the second site below, and the top three phones are free, if you are having a hard time chosing one of the phones from that list, I like the Samsung SCH-a630. It is a good phone, my cousin has it and loves it.
I think if you are buying a phone you should go with the SCH-a630.

I, too, have Verizon. My 2 yr. contract was up few months back. All I received from them was letter offering me more minutes for the same amount if I renewed my contract for 2 yrs. I was told that Verizon would give me new phones after 2 yrs. when I first signed up. But I haven't checked on them yet. I am going to my local Verizon store soon to check on new phones. I'm not buying one.

Here is what I suggest you try. Sometimes this will work and sometimes it doesn't, but its worht a try. Talk to a Verizon customer service rep and tell them that you want to re-new your contract but only if you can get a free phone of your choice. If they value you as a customer, they will tell you yes. if not, **** em and move on.

you get $100 off a new phone, but if you commit for another 2 years, you get the low price on the new phone- so you can get any of their cool new phones for either free or nearly free. The LG Chocolate, the VX8300 or the Razr.

You it really depends on the plan that you currently have, my boyfriend added me to his plan and he was able to upgrade one phone at a lower, price but if I upgraded mine I would have to pay out the wall. Check with your Verizon... Another excellent carrier that I had was US Cellular...never a problem with either, and with U.S. you don't have to pay minutes, you can have unlimited for around a 100 bucks a month.

go to the website and it will tell you what you are eligible for especially if you are going to sign a new 2yr contract...ps...check out walmart if you have a connection center in your walmart they have an awesome deal for $48.88 with a phone and bluetooth with music download capabilities
