I am confused as to where the aerial cable should go, from the wall to receiver then output to my tv via component cables (my receiver doesnt support HDMI cabling) or straight to my TV as it has the digital tuner built in and so might yield a better picture? I would then output my TV to my receiver for distributing sound etc. Someone help because I am totally lost!

What have people with near total hearing loss to receive and hear phone conversations?
My 84-year old grandmother is deaf in one ear and has near-total hearing loss in the other. She wears hearing-aids but can not understand alot of words.
What appliances can you suggest (bonus: where can I purchase them online) that can assist in this particular situation? What can any one tell me about the ((CapTel is a Telephone)) the cost and how well it works? I miss talking with my grandma...HELP PLEASE

I know what a piezo is, but what is a piezoelectric plate? Where can I buy them at? Radio Shack says they have never heard of them.
I am building (novice electronics) a circuit that requires a piezoelectric plate.
Is this seperate from a piezo?
Thanks

A friend of mine just spent around $400.00 + on an Ipod Nano, I asked her what made the "nano" $400 and what feature's it has that other cheaper MP3 players may not? She said, that it was made of metal and not plastic and that since APPLE came out with it first that it was superior to the "other" cheaper models.. It DOES hold 2000 songs but, what else can it do? I'm curious if it's just a brand name or it it really is better>>. Also, I have an MP3 player capability on my Samsung Verizon phone would that work about the same way as the NANO, on a smaller scale.. Could I plug/play my phone through my car stereo... ? It's an older phone...Thanks..

My grandson was playing with a magnet and touched the TV with it and these colorful squiggly lines were going across the screen.
