piezo plate?

I know what a piezo is, but what is a piezoelectric plate? Where can I buy them at? Radio Shack says they have never heard of them.
I am building (novice electronics) a circuit that requires a piezoelectric plate.
Is this seperate from a piezo?

Give some indication of what the circuit is and may be able to help. A frequency determining crystal is a piezoelectric plate for example. It is a (generally) thin piece of glass that resonates at a particular frequency when excited with the appropriate EMF.
