I did a slide show on powerpoint for my computer class online that I am taking. The problem is everytime I go to submit the project online to the class, I open up the project after it got submitted and the animation is not showing up on it like it does when I did the project before submitting it to the class. HOw do you submit a powerpoint paper online so the animation shows up in the project? Will the teacher be able to see the animation I had used even though it wont show up on my end when opening the submitted project? Please help!

it can take up to 20 mins to start and wont switch off. I have scanned for viruses, spyware, had the hard drive checked by maxtor web site. it can hang for 6 mins or more. i can hear the hard drive running all the time as if its running or trying to run something as im typing this my computer is still trying to start up properly i switched on 2 hours ago. i use avast,zone alarm and spyware doctor. I have had this problem for about a month

I have to reinstall XPSP2 on my Dell Dimension 1100 desktop.. I have a few freeware programs that required registration online with the manufacturers. Once I had installed these programs, the setup icons changed to the permanent logo icons; so, I do not know where to locate the setups. Can I burn these programs to CD's? Isn't there some kind of prevention due to copyright, etc, even though they are freeware??I emailed each manufacturer and received automated answers that did not answer this question. Once such a freeware program has been downloaded, do they usually permit another download to the same person?

I surf the web but I want to watch a video through media player but I dont want a skin on top of the browser - id like ideally a plug in that has some sort of sidebar IN THE BROWSER that allows me to do this? Any ideas, im sure you used to be able to do this in explorer too??

I've been using Firefox for about a year and I've been very happy with it- I love using tabs, I pick up less adware/spyware than when I use Internet Explorer, and it seems to run faster. (I don't *despise* IE or anything, but I just prefer Firefox). Anyway, I downloaded version 2 either the day or the day after it came out (I forget, sorry), and it's been working perfectly until literally this morning. Most pages work, but if I go to certain pages (examples: the Yahoo mail login page or my AOL mail inbox), it just won't load and I have to use alt-control-delete to close it. I tried running it in safe mode, but the same exact thing happened. These pages work fine on IE, though, which is what I'm using right now. Anyone know what I can do to fix it? I'm ultra lazy/impatient and I'd rather not be stuck using tabless/laggy old IE for the rest of eternity. Thank you! ^_^

PS: I'm not overly computer savvy, so try to dumb it down a bit if possible ;)

i have just played the demo of "fear" and i shall be going out tommorow to buy the ful game
however i was wondering whats the full game like,as if its anything like the demo,it gonna be crackin

If I send a document that I typed with Wordpad, will the person I sent it to be able to open it as a MS Word document? Is it basically the same?
I do have MS Word on my old computer but since there is no burner on that one and no floppy on this new one, could I still try to copy MS Word on a floppy then send it via email to my new computer and download it that way?
Also, I do have an Office 2000 disc from which I have been trying to download word with, but so far I've just been getting 'error 1305' messages.

Ok heres the story...
last night I changed my screensaver so it said christmas...
Then now I find it says Christoweenving

I have a series of jpeg/jpg format coin pictures (110 x 110 pixels) I want to place over a background created within an html document for web pages.
The background is greyscale and the coin pictures are gold-coloured. I have removed the background around the coins such that when viewed on a white background all is well but when placed over a coloured back-ground the square area around the coin is also displayed as a white square.
How can I format the picture in such a way as the area around the coin is transparent and you can see the background as if the coin itself was placed directly on the background? I've tried to find some way of drawing a circle around the coin to cut the image out of the square and resave only the coin image itself but can't find a way of doing so
my only solution (memory hungry) was to use paint to merge the two images but this isn't the ideal solution.
any software out there freely available that can crop the coin out and lose the frame please?
