I already went to their "help" page and it said to "1. Click the "FrontPage" link on the Create & Update tab of your GeoCities Control Panel." Then to authorize.

Unfortunately, there is NO "FrontPage" link in my Create & Update panel.

would like to know,

is it better to put a connectionstring (called from a static method from another class) into a string variable, and pass the string to the methods, or get the connectionstring (call the static method) in every methods that requires it?

Firefox users know that if an image cannot be displayed the ALT information is displayed instead. This is nice except the amount of space the alt text takes up is larger than the original image, messing up my layout.

Is there anyway to limit the amount of space it takes up to the size of the original image (like IE)?

I've got a problem - I need to design a website. It needs to be professional looking, informative, and above all, it needs to have a good visual design.

The problem is, although I'm quite good with computers, I am nearly inept at web design. I also lack creativity.

How can a build an attractive looking page without spending months learning how make sites look good?

BTW - I don't want to spend much/any money. I came across one thing, but it was 299 US .... no.

When I try to sign my computer onto the internet I get a message that says,"The procedure entry point SHRegGetValueW could not be located in the dynamice link library SHLWAPI.dll. I had a friend burn the file on a cd so that I can load the file back into my computer. My problem is, I do not know where to put the file or how to open it. All I am able to do at this point is look at it. Is there anyone out there that can help me figure this out? I am able to put my yahoo msr on and that is how i posted this plea for help!
