hey there guys, I'm supposed to make a small project including a 7 segment , Do you have some outstanding thoughts about that but simple..means dont tell me for an example make a down counter for a rocket launch!!!

I've recently created a group on myspace and I want to make a picture link to post in other groups that when clicked will take the person to my new group. I've searched for sites to make one at but they don't have any buttons that are big enough to fit the writing on. Does anybody know of a site that lets you do all the adjusting to your preferences?

I have to move very large database in Access to SQL Server 2005 because the access is to small. I know there is a migration download that will automatically move everything over but I have read that is not the best way to do it because data can get lost since the field types are different. I was wondering what is the best way to move the data over? Should I jsut make the tables in SQL Server 2005 then write a VB application that will move the data over for me? I know this will take awhile consindering I have about 50 tables but is this my safest bet?

I have a very large very old access database. It is currently 13 megs without any records (the records are kept on a network drive so mutliple users can access it). The problem is, over the years I have created forms, queries, and reports that are one time deals. To make makers worse some of my TEMP queries are linked to forms because I found them useful. Short of deleting stuff I don't think I need and crossing my fingers is there a way to find "LAST ACCESSED" information inside ACCESS?

Ok i just finished creating weblayout for a personal web page for my music production company. Everything was created in Photoshop. Is there some kind of process that i have to go through once i'm done in order to code the page? Is there any one...or anywhere i can go to have this done. I'm usually good at graphic design, but i dont know anything about the actual coding part of it. Can someone please help.

I need a recommendation for what language I should use to do serial communications over RS232. I know a little C++ but all I learned was console apps. I have tried VB because there is a "com control" already in it, but I didn't get very far with it.

I need something that I can set up my own protocol as well as the standard com stuff (baud, Xon/Xoff, etc.) It will be communicating with a microcontroller. Right now is communicating via “Hyper terminal”, but I want something.... prettier. I well be starting another C class in a couple of weeks, but I think its going to be another “Intro to...”

hello there
i'll get right to the point: i have to do a project, a java application, which is basically about students, their grades at different exams and so on

one of the last things which i am required to do is:
"replace the array of students from the class Exam with a collection of students"

i have absolutely no idea how to do this or even what this means!! i have checked out the tutorial about collection but still no idea

can anyone pleaase help? i'll be eternally grateful...

I just thought it must be...but are there any proofs of that yet? I mean if the idea behind the making of the JVM is actually "opensource", then shouldn't people start making their own virtual runtime environments and get it installed in other platforms?
