how do i fix that problem, i have win xp

Check you setting to see if you have enabled pictures.
For IE,
In tools > Internet options > Advanced, see if the following are checked,if not, put a check mark and save.

Accessibility:
1.Always expand alt text for images - Check it
Multimedia
2. Play Animation in Web Pages - Check it
3. Play videos in web pages - Check it
4. Play animations in web pages - Check it
5. Show Pictures - Check it

It should work for you now. If not, do mention additional details.

usually it happens either the url/link of the pic is incorrect or the pic is missing in the server.

you can check by right cick the pic
->properties
check if the address/link of the pic is correct url and make sure it's not started by localhost like C:// or D:// but http:// or even just the file name like images/logo.gif

The image has to be RGB format, not CMYK. Make sure that the images are in RGB format, browsers can only display those.

Are your pictures all in the same directory? Pictures and graphics are generally in an images directory. If so, are you putting the directory within your HTML code?

Check the image colour mode in PhotoShop it should be in RGB mode not in CMYK mode.
