How do you get this thing on a web site where you can have html graphics to give out to people and have a text scroller to where you could put the code in so you don't have to worry about it taking up so much room on the page and no i dont mean scrolling text as in it goes across the screen im still confused

I have been looking around on the internet for tutorials for a few eeks now but I can't find a guide that starts from a blank page to the nding stages of a web template. I am trying to design a web template and right now, I was just wondering where do I even start? Do I start by designing the whole site on PhotoShop, or do I start with tables on Macromedia Dreamweaver, or what? Please help! Anything is appreciated!

I'm pulling standards from one table...low is [text64] and high is [text66]. From a different table I’m pulling the actual reading [spec1].

If [spec1] falls between [text64] and [text66] I want nothing to happen...should it fall outside of that span I want the background of the box [spec1] to turn red leaving the numbers in it, just changing the background...perhaps even turning the numbers to bold print.

In the control source for [spec1] I’ve used this expression

=IIf([spec1] Between [Text64] And [Text66],
[spec1].BackColor65280,
[spec1].BackColor255)

This doesn’t work....what should I be doing to make this happen?

for example:
if the sheet contains: CELLA2= "0/ABC/0/ACT/AID/N/2nd", CELLA3= "0/ZYXLQ/0/NRSG/RN/Tx/1st", etc
i want to 'count' the "/" and return the characters between the 4th and 5th "/"
I have tried to use the LEFT/RIGHT/MID functions but with the variable number of characters before & after the one's i am trying to get it meant manually editing the formulas, which is what i am trying to avoid.
for the example above, i would like to have "AID" in CELLB2 and "RN" in CELLB3, etc
If i have been unclear, please tell me what more information i can provide to clarify the matter. I hope this is possible!

I need someone to finish a website I am trying to make using bravenet. I have got the basics down using a wizard but I had purchased these expensive templates through the site that look really good but to edit them it required me to know html and how to edit it all and I need to get this up and running within the next couple of days. How come when I try to open an application with my compiler it comes out as some weird webdings-esque code. What is this and how can I see the real code. I've been meaning to look at some programs to better understand how some real ones are written. but very little of it is readable. I could understand hex or something but this is just weird. how could I see it?

My severely disabled son needs a customised gamepad for the wii and playstation - or preferably a universal gamepad to play any game console (if that's possible). Do I need to look for an electronics expert or computer expert? Maybe a combination of these two, or something else entirely?? I have searched the Internet for weeks but found no useful links.
