Combine images in what way?
Take two pictures and save them side by side, one above the other?
Or take a picutre with one person's face and then put some other face on it?
Which do you need?
Basically you use the lasso tool to select what will be on the top layer, and place it over the bottom layer photo, then experimnet with the tools to make it look right.
Give me a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish and i will direct you to the proper tutorial.
