I have a PC here (144MB RAM) that runs ME. It seems fine except when you play Spider Solitaire, it's in slow motion. I have another PC that has less memory (128MB RAM) but running Win98SE much faster! It's not like we don't want to upgrade to XP, some PCs just haven't got enough memory. You need to have at least 256MB RAM to run XP to run basic stuff smoothly. I thought ME should be very happy with 144MB RAM. Now I'm thinking of downgrading it if ME has such bad press. The colours look very cheerful though. If your PC is not powerful enough, it might be worth you downgrading it to Win98SE, at least it's a stable version.

There are many problems with Windows "ME", poor driver support, very poor stability among other things. Often times you would have to re-install the OS several times to get a good, usable product that would run all the software and hardware that worked fine under Windows 98 SE.

It was made by Microsoft and is full of problems, was not a full version of windows, only a hash of windows 98 to make some extra cash for Bill Gates

Windows Me was actually a transition OS between the good old Windows 98 (SE) and XP; probably because Microsoft failed to finish XP on time.
Don't use Me; as horrible as XP is I'd still recommend it instead of Me.

Quicker to say what's RIGHT with it! Urgh!

Seriously though, it was rushed out in a hurry, was full of bugs and horribly unstable. Not one of Uncle Bill's better efforts.
