I need someone to finish a website I am trying to make using bravenet. I have got the basics down using a wizard but I had purchased these expensive templates through the site that look really good but to edit them it required me to know html and how to edit it all and I need to get this up and running within the next couple of days. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Never used Bravenet myself. Can you download these templates and edit them in a HTML Editor, such as Nvu [nvu.com]?

Look in the yellow pages under Computers - Web Design

There are people who make a living designing and developing web spaces for businesses and private individuals. I know some html coding and designed my own web pages which I uploaded to my ISP designated area, but they were nothing fancy and it was just to learn...I would not dream of trying to design or prepare a sophisticated website.

If you get someone who is willing to do it on Yahoo! Answers, call me cynical but it will probably be someone who wants something in return from you, who is doing it just as a hobby and may not know exactly what they are doing, or is just stringing you along so you miss your deadline.

Remember the motto: "...you get what you pay for..."

Well I know a website designer, her fee is 5/ minute or something like that and webhosting annual fee is $ 190 something. I build my own website with Yahoo and learned how to write HTML contents. You can try, they are also helpful and it only costs you $ 11 per month with free domain name and webhosting fee. If you live in the US or Canada, you will find so many alternatives.

I do web design for a living, and my starting rate is $80/hr. There are plenty of people who do design for fun and not for profit.

Thoese template "build your own" places are really just a rip-off. You could spend the same amount of money and have someone like me do it in half the time.

A freelance webdev $15/hr? Or anywhere from 50~200 dollars per page depending on graphics/script/content

i am trying to build a portfolio because i am setting up a designers site to go freelance, here is my current personal site ( its my interest and hobby )

http://www.recipebite.co.uk/ ( you can use the contact form to get hold of me )

one thing though, i will NOT do it for bravenet, so, i will make you a deal - i can get you a domain and hosting for £35.00 pounds per year ( its nothing to do with me, but i can get it ) - do that, and i will design you a site for free

( p.s, i use cms systems, making your site TOTALLY adjustable by you with very little knowledge )
