I am looking for someone who knows how to program to make a VERY simple game program for me. This would be something for private use, by my daughter, and not to be distributed. I am assuming it would be very quick to make, and would like to find someone who wouldn't mind writing it up for me.

The game is called worms, my wife makes it for my daughter all the time on paper, but I'd love a computer version. It works like this:

You have a 15 x 15 square grid (perhaps have this be where you can choose grid size?). Each square in the grid has either: A) a door to the next square, up, down, left or right, or B) A dead end (I.e. a locked door) There is one square that is somewhere on the border that has an entrance, and one that has an exit. It's basically a maze, nothing more. You start with your little worm guy and run him through the maze and try and get to the other end. No going back. Please see additional details... running out of room.

I am working on a PHP-HTML-JavaScript combination web software similar to Googlefight (only mine won't use Flash, and will search Google, Yahoo, Excite, Ask.com, and many other engines).

When I use the JavaScript to change the HEIGHT attribute of the style of two text input elements on the page (to make one larger than the other based on the result numbers), the inputs automatically align to the top, so that the taller one seems to "hang down" instead of "point up", if you know what I mean.

Is there any way to make the inputs align to the bottom of, say, a DIV, so the taller one is HIGHER than the other, and not LOWER (as it is now)?

Becuase I got a computer but it got a bunch of virus so we have to by a new computer/tower and we are going to sell it but I dotn know how much We should sell the screen for but they peorson we are selling it to is going to by the tower not us so how much for the screen?

This was just something I was wondering for a while, I'm wondering of when you get into the business world programmers still feel the rush from being the challenge given to them. I'm still in college and I honestly love my major especially because of the rush I get from trying as hard as I can on something...overcoming it, then being able to brag to myself that I was able to do it.

use a fake directory name, I'll figure it out, but use an absolute URL so I'll recognize it. You don't have to make any special programming to make it display just pictures, as there will only be pictures in the gallery. It just needs to write "" to the document, or whatever the equivalent would be.

PHP, ASP, etc... I have all the script interpreteurs running on my server.

So that I don't have to change the html everytime I upload a new one.

I tried and tried to learn how, but apparently you can't do this with javascript in a way that's not sneaky.

I just need it to display the picture itself and nothing else. I can modify it to do the rest of the work. Thanks!!!

in other words, for every JPG in this directory, document.write this HTML so that the JPG is displayed in a table like fashion. I know the document.write part, I just want to read the contents of a folder into an array or something...

I want to be able to display an HTML page according to the contents of a folder on the server. Is this possible with PHP or Javascript? What's the difference when programming a serverside Javascript as opposed to a client side? Aren't they the same, except that one is in the HTML document and the other is a separate file that is submitted to?

I am running Win98SE as my OS now and I want to upgrade to 2000...I have the 2000 disc to install it but I never did it myself before..my brother set up my puter with 98SE last year and I was there and watched him as he did it. now I think I am ready to install 2000 Pro if I can get some good help from the good Y A people out there in the "computers & internet" category. I just dont know if I have to save all my files from 98SE or do I delete everything and install 2000 and then start from scratch ???

actually, i would likke to check if some1 is using my urls using iframes in his websites ,

i tried to put a script inside the content..but due a security reason the script can't check the parent.window.location.href..
