Has anyone tried teaching SQL query design to someone with no experience in this area? How far might you expect to be able to go with the training in a few weeks?

nothing to do for the next couple of weeks. Should I read them and learn Perl? Is it worth reading? Or should I just delete them. Its a few Oreilly books.

Like how important is Perl? And is it easy enough for me to do on my own with just these books?

What I mean is, what's the use of learning something if you don't know its significance? I know nothing about scripting etc. (No nothing). A year down the line, I'll be looking for entry level jobs in s/w. Considering that should i learn perl?

How do i seperate my pictures when putting them up on the profile.
When you post the codes...they just cram the pictures up close to eachother. I would like to have a gap between my pics.
Is there some code you paste to give you a gap?

Actually I have created a Java program (with jdk 1.3) and coverted it into a *.exe file using JSmoothGen. What it does is that it creates an exe file which looks out for *.class file and executes the program. Now I want to run this exe file through a website interface i.e. as soon as the user clicks on the file it searches for the file on the web and then updates the files on the website. But the problem is that when I posted it on web and accessed it via net, it get downloaded in the temp folder and searches for file there and not the web....... Please help....... I am new to Java programming

can you please provide reference to this piece of information?

* there is a risk when using dynamic URLs: search engines don't like them. For those at most risk of losing search engine positioning due to dynamic URLs are e-commerce stores, forums, sites utilizing content management systems and blogs like Mambo or WordPress?, or any other database-driven website.
* Static URLs are typically ranked better in search engine results pages, and they are indexed more quickly than dynamic URLs, if dynamic URLs get indexed at all. Static URLs are also easier for the end-user to view and understand what the page is about. If a user sees a URL in a search engine query that matches the title and description, they are more likely to click on that URL than one that doesn't make sense to them.

can you please provide reference to this piece of information?
