laptop should have P4 processor, more than 512 Gb of ram. Hard disk capacity should be more than 80 Gb.OS must be latest version of XP. Also includes all the latest functions a laptop can have and ofcourse a inbuilt DVD writer

I've registered my interest in doing an IT course with affordabletraining.co.uk , and they've rung me up and quoted ~£600 for a course. Something smells fishy though, I can't help thinking they're trying to rip me off. What's the catch with this and similar providers?

I dont know what I did, but now my Microsft Word will open with that paragraph symbol, and whenever I space, I get little dots that look like ---, dashes. Can someone please tell me how to turn it off?

Basically it's a mobile phone that appears to have sold for over a grand when I was dubious as to whether or not it'd get its reserve of fifty quid. The winner mailed to say could she reduce payment to £620, I agreed. She said when money has cleared could I post the phone to Nigeria. Well, as long as the money's in my paypal account that's fine with me - I'll post it recorded delivery anywhere for that money! Thing is, this whole thing stinks of a scam. Can paypal retrospectively take the cash from my account after I've posted the item? Has anyone heard of this kind of scam? The word "Nigeria" set off alarm bells. Any advice would be appreciated!

for the last month or two my computer has been sounding really weird. it sounds like the fan is going 10 times faster then normal. it actually sounds like its gana take off somtimes as it starts off slow and gets louder and faster quickly.
could this be of 2 much music on my com or what could it be?

I have done what everyone has suggested. Now when I go to find Flash Player, some of you said Adobe bought Macromedia, but there must be 20 sites to download it from...When I went to Adobe, it said I might have to click the gold bar above my browser, I do not have a gold bar anywhere visible, does anyone have more help that they can give me, my butt hurts, I have been here for hours trying to figure this out...Can't watch videos, and could...did nothing to computer, security still the same...Help, my legs are falling asleep!! I have Might and Magic VII and VIII. When I install them the diagnostic comes up and says that the direct X version is not up to date. When I check using dx diag it shows I have Version 9.0.c. I just want to know how to fix it to where I can play both games.
