I have run a virus check didnt find anything - have changed batteries in bluetooth keyboard and mouse, still doing it.
Was only bleeping when i was playing online world of warcraft pc game but now it seems to do it when i am running virus scan opening documents. Any ideas ???? It driving me around the bend.

i tried looking for my sound card and it is no longer is there.and also the sound volume is on low and and shaded out grey,so i can't turn it up.any suggestions? my pc is old lol it is a 1999 gateway le500.thanx for everyone that can help and GOD bless

im building a pc and ive basicly installed and configured everything.. when i boot up the system, the screen stays black, the screen is fine and the video card is new, there arent any beeps and i can hear the fan blowing.. u know what im doing wrong??

ok, so I have an iPod Nano and I also have a thing to play it on my car stereo, or home stereo if I wanted, but the trouble is when it actually plays over the speakers it is VERY quiet. It used to work just fine until I uploaded some more songs on it, and now it plays quietly. What could that be? How do I fix it? And sorry if this question seems like it's just EVERYWHERE!

I copy/paste an image onto my Paint Shop Pro Seven, and it instantly lightens. I work on the image, manipulating it and such, and then when I save it and upload it on photobucket it appears darker!! I usually have to go to 'Contrast' and brighten up the image, but then it looks too light on my laptop (which has no problems with its colors). How do I fix this strange color problem?

Oh, yes, and it does the same thing for PAINT too, so it's not the program itself.

I am having a problem and would like to be helped, pls reply!
I have HDs: C, D, DVD: E and CD-Rom: F on my PC, read/play ok, but it can not recognize a location of DVD "E" when burning a music or movie DVD to a blank disc; when burning job is done, that disc can not be run and It will give a message of "formatted unknown".
I checked thru the Disk management (Control Panel), all assigned disks are corrected, but checked thru the "Easy CD & DVD Creator 6" sometimes it shows "two" drive E (assigned DVD drive) and one drive F (CD drive).
If rotating DVD drive from E to F location and CD drive from F to E, DVD will burn dics ok, but CD will not copy wright.
would some supper one tell me how to fix it.
It seems like this problem occured when I have 2 HDs , a DVD and a CD-Rom drives, installed onto PC,I assigned then re-assigned names after rotating orders of disks, Later, I found these problems.

Sometimes when I download certain things a window appears and says "Windows cannot open this file" then it gives me to choices "Use the web service to find the appropriate program" (if I choose this it takes me to a Windows page and nothing happens) or "select the program from a list" (when I choose I program it says that the program is unable to read the file). What do I do, please help?

I'm not sure the exact type, it says Type: Al file

I need to disable the automatic updates feature in Windows XP Home. Soon er or later one of the updates will trash my system and it has happened on at leasst six occasions now. I even had to replace a hard drive because of it.

I have a nokia 6230i, and data cable. And i want to transfer a text doc onto my phone. The only problem is when i transfer it i cant read it.

If you see an answer posted that is exactly the same as one you want to post, why do you post it again? I understand the ones that are within seconds of each other, or even minutes. It's possible you didn't see the one like yours. But why hours, or days later, do you post the same thing.
