I have windows vista and internet explorer 7 and when i try to go to a website it tells me address not valid or cannot display the page. I know my internet is connected because i can see the ethernet light is green and on and i can also send and receive email. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks alot

When I go to get on the internet it take 5 minutes or more for the actual page to come up! After that, it runs exremeley fast and doesn't stall like that. I've tried changing the home page but it still keeps doing the same thing. I really hate it because some links open in a new window and I have to wait forever for that window to load..HELP!!! Please?

I bought a dvd over ebay, I payed for it straight away, then i get a email from the user saying i did not pay in full and i was meant to pay another $4 for registered post ot something? I dont even know what that is. Anyway I already payed nearly $50 for this dvd, which was postage and the actual item and now hes opened a dispute because i havent paid in full. I was thinking of letting it go and getting the strike or whatever, but will i get the money i already paid back??
or should i just pay the extra four dollars??
help please.

I bought a belt buckle on Ebay and when I recieved it, it was a different belt buckle than what I had ordered. He said to send it back and he would send the right one out when he got the wrong one back. What should I do? I mean why should I have to pay to have it shipped back to him. I already paid enough money to purchase it and have it shipped... This is my first Ebay transaction that has gone wrong. What am I suppose to do? Thanks.

I've been using it for a while now & it's still working fine. but everytime i close it & after being closed, an error message pops up. name of that error window is "iexplore.exe - Application Error" with this message:
The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b.

After I click "Ok" on that message, another error message appears saying:
Runtim error 217 at 03FEAEA

so what's really the problem? this happens everytime i close my internet window...really bugs me

Do any of you know how to properly and safely connect the carergory 5 wire from outside phone box to inside phone jack for dsl use? there are 8 lines in this wire. lines in this wire have the following colors: solid blue, pale red, rust color, and green.there is a solid while, white with rust horizontal stripe, white with pale red stripe and white with green stripe. Was told to only use the white and blue in the "data" clip... what about the other wires on outside? and on inside box as well? very confusing! please help... need high speed for daughter's college exams! thank you...

Ok, I'm getting sick of having to log in to my hotmail, gmail, yahoo and aol email accounts, so I started configuring my apple "mail" application. but since Hotmail is MSN, and MSN is microsoft, it naturally sucks (it can't be any other way, of course, but I'm not going to go into that...) lol so I tried to have it forward to my gmail account, but it wouldn't let me. (cuz microsoft sucks) it would only let me forward it to a hotmail or windows live email account. so how to I get it to forward to my Gmail, as hotmail is my main email account?
