No , do not delete Internet Explorer , some websites clash with Firefox and will not function correctly unless you are using IE. Keep it on the PC for the times you may need it.

I personally do not see the point of uninstalling IE, as Firefox (as great as it is!) can sometimes mess up (for example, I cannot play videos on the web that come from windows media player, but all other formats are fine).
I would personally keep IE in the background, just delete it from your desktop if not needed. Then, when needed, you can drag it back out again from the start menu.
The size of IE is 4kb on average on a PC so won't make much difference in terms of space.
Hope that helps.

IE is integrated into Windows and can't be removed. Not to mention that you need it to correspond with Microsoft. If you don't have IE you can't download Windows updates, etc. You can run IE and Firefox on the same machine just fine, and at the same time, if you wish.

I personally would if you want to save up space. Firefox is so much more reliable and a safer choice! :D
