go to the advanced settings tab in the internet options button on the top of the screen and restore the default settings. do this for all the tabs and you should get on the internet. There is also the possibility the webpage is blocked because of our privacy settings. If you can see this web page and not others, that page you are looking for might be gone.

I am not sure what you are using for email, but you could be having a DNS problem, which would originate with your service provider. DNS allows you to type in a web site, and then translate it for your browser in terms of the actual address and location of the page.

I don't know what operating system you have, but if you have a terminal mode or access to MS DOS you can ping the site to see what happens.

So I would recommend you contact your Comcast or whoever supplies your internet connection.

contact your provider the (who ever you pay for internet service) it sounds like your modum is offline. It takes about 10 minutes and they can walk you throught the process, it is very simple.

A *very* off possibility but...believe it or not I did it to myself once...do you happen to have "Work offline" checked? (under File"?
