Internet - March 2007

Preferably something that doesn't require me to spend loads of time looking at other people's websites to get them to look at mine... I am not opposed to putting ads on my website, though, if that will help.

I sent my friend a....well lets say an illegal program.....He called and told me he deleted it because charter sent him a email saying they knew and were gonna sue him. Ok i dont pay for **** i download off the internet (most of it is illegal) and charter has never sent me an email like that so someone explain.

The only thing that i have is the IP address and i would like to send a plain message to it, how could that be done?
NET SEND doesn't work because the IP is in another country.

I work for a small company that has a big sister company far away. We manufacture many different types of webbing straps and tie downs. They have the engineering drawings for all the straps. When I need a drawing I usually email them and they email it back to me. I want to know how can I possibly connect to their computer to retrive the information on my own. Besides them putting everything on a CD and sending it to me. I thought about remote desktop but then I cant put the information on my computer I need to transfer it. Any suggestions? maybe a program we can use to transfer mass quantity of information from computer to computer by internet?

If people had a chance to stop cancer they would. The internet destroys lives. I guess a better way to say would be to stop the selling of alcohol and tobacco. It's ruining peoples lives. But people continue to use it. If we could stop it how much better would our lives be?

In the internet temp. files where the cookies are stored it shows my name attached to the cookie even for sites that I've never gone to. Where does the cookie get my name from and how can I prevent my name from being attached to the cookie?
