Talk to your manager about setting up a separate computer that would only be used for non-work uses when people are on break. Or just bring a laptop or something.
Seriously though, it's not like MySpace is the only thing on the internet. There are news sites like http://www.Digg.com and http://news.google.com , there's a world of things to learn at http://www.Wikipedia.org
Heck, why not just bring a book to read on your break. That's certainly more mentally stimulating than surfing the 'net.

I wouldn't, recommend tampering with security settings, or having anyone, do it on your behalf. Management, has decided their technology, will not be used for your entertainment. Challenge management, by bringing in your own technology. Only one laptop need have an internet connection, through one of the wireless providers, the others may gain access, to the internet, through peer to peer, wireless networking. I have no doubt, there are plenty of nerds, who would be willing to help you, with the technical details.

Well if they have not blocked Google, then you may be able to use the Google proxy on my tools page:
http://www.expertsrt.com/resources/gadgets.html
It is on the left at the bottom, just enter teh URL of the site you are trying to reach.
There are open proxy around but please do not use them. Tehy are frequently loaded with malicious code; plus if they are detected by the company you work for, it would probably get you fired.

You'd have to go in and change the security settings, which if your company has all their computers thru the same system, you probably won't be able to do unless you're a pro hacker
