It seem to me that "google" has taken over as my home page. I tried to deleate "google" from my pc but a warning message came up that I had to have it to run my yahoo. Is that correct?

Myspace claims to have a procedure to change your email address if you don't have it anymore. It doesn't work. Even the automated response to this procedure says that they're going to respond to the old email address that we don't have anymore. It is very frustrating. I have run through it a hundred times to no avail. The problem is that our band has over 5000 friends and it would take another year or two to get them all back. This has been going on since late '05. Is anybody home at Myspace?

I have just been browsing the net and I saw a banner from 'Orange' that said "Click here for local business's in Brighton and Hove" I'm wondering how this banner knew where I lived the website was not specific to this area in any way ?

We just bought our first laptop. In addition to Windows Vista it has built in wi-fi. I have never dealt with wi-fi before and (at first) didn't realize that this feature has on on/off switch. I saw that I was picking up signals from other spots and logged on thinking this was kind of neat. I didn't really do anything much beyond that point before I logged off again.
But I thought I'd check it out and once I got back on my dial-up I discovered that this is really frowned upon and illegal in some cases.
Can somebody fill me in on Federal and Arizona State laws specifically regarding the use of wi-fi?
It seems to me that laws (that I saw) were to protect the privacy of the Wi-Fi customer not the provider, so can it really be equated to stealing cable? I also understand (now) that it would be only courteous (even if it were to be legal) to ask your neighbor first.
Please give me details and fill me in. I'd like to learn alot more but everything I see on the internet is very vague

I downloaded a picture of Avril Lavigne the other day, from some website, and I want to go back to the site for more but I cannot remember the site. I have the picture saved in My Pictures on my computer, but it doesn't have the info about the site that I got it from. Is there any possible way I can retreive that info from My Pictures? ok i keep getting harassed in my email by somebody and i marked them as spam but they will not stop messaging me. i've said some pretty horrible stuff back to them but now i've asked them 6 times to stop but they won't. is there anything i can do to stop somebody emailing me at all on hotmail accounts or what should i do. i know playing their game was the stupid thing i did but i'm sick of their crap. i cant file harassment cuz of the things i said i bet but its getting ridiculous i just want this to stop and they will not stop. if they dont stop emailing me and i keep asking them too, can i file harassment no matter what i said?
