ok i keep getting harassed in my email by somebody and i marked them as spam but they will not stop messaging me. i've said some pretty horrible stuff back to them but now i've asked them 6 times to stop but they won't. is there anything i can do to stop somebody emailing me at all on hotmail accounts or what should i do. i know playing their game was the stupid thing i did but i'm sick of their crap. i cant file harassment cuz of the things i said i bet but its getting ridiculous i just want this to stop and they will not stop. if they dont stop emailing me and i keep asking them too, can i file harassment no matter what i said?

Three things:

Ignore it

Secondly go to:

↓ Options
↓ Filters
↓ Set up a block filter that will automatically delete the mail before it is delivered

Thirdly report the user with evidence and their full header (ie ip address) to:

abuse@hotmail.com

Glad I could help

you can file a report with that persons isp , but the beauty of hotmail is you can simply delete the email account and create another one

You can always block them. or you could just ignore them and not even open their messages. Just delete them. Either way they will stop once they realize your not responding.

Why don't you just ignore the email. Don't open it and delete it. Pretty simple.

It depends on where you live, and if know who they are. Call you local District Attorney's office or police department.

Block their e-mail from getting to you! I don't know what kind of browers you use, but you should be able to do this quite easily.

I wish you well!
