I downloaded a picture of Avril Lavigne the other day, from some website, and I want to go back to the site for more but I cannot remember the site. I have the picture saved in My Pictures on my computer, but it doesn't have the info about the site that I got it from. Is there any possible way I can retreive that info from My Pictures? If so how, please.

There are a few ways to do this:

1) Look at the image - does it have an address on one of the edges?

2) Open up your browser and look in the history - Control+H is a shortcut. Look at the sites you visited on the day you found the picture.

3) If you're using Firefox there is also a Download history (Control+Y)

4) Repeat the search you did on that day.

Probably very unlikley.

You could check your "Browser History", espically if you know the day that you were looking for it.

Depending what browser you are using,

IE7:

Click the "Star" in the top left hand corner
Click History
Click the "down arrow" under history, and sort it by "date"

Find the date you think you downloaded the picture and look through all the sites you visted.

Best thing that I can tell you is to do a yahoo or google image search. Most images don't contain the origin site within their properties description. But if you right click your image, then select properties and then advanced, there is an origin description there (although 9 out of 10 images I've tried this with had no origin description).

Yes you can you just right click on the picture and go to properties and the website should be listed in the summary tab on where you got it or you can check yourtemporary internet files to find the pictutre if you dont delete them on a regular basis.
