↓ Click view
↓ Click Tool bar
↓ Click customize
↓ Add (may need to drag) the "Add new Tab" button to the tool bar

The new button should be added and you simply click it to add a new page / sheet. This is a more permanent method over control + t

You can also right click on a link, which will allow you to open that link in a new tab.

I like Opera for this reason, it defaults to being tabbed.

Though the latest version of Firefox I have now allows the tabs to be saved and reopened just like Opera.

I use them both about equally since some sites aren't Opera-friendly.

Go to File in your tool bar and select open a new tab.
Or, just hold Ctrl and press T while doing so.
Then, just select the tab and each tab has its own address bar, so simply type it in.
