How can I turn off the "Do not Disturb service?

My partner has an old hotmail account that he used in his previous marriage and insists it's been deleted. This is his computer I'm using and on two occassions when I've tried to log onto my hotmail account this old email address has appeared on the screen (Sign in Box).
He tells me he hasn't been on this account and that his computer sometimes automatically pops up this OLD EMAIL address ! (in the Sign in Box) STRANGE......is this possible? How do I find out if his account is still activated or maybe when it was last used??

Help I used to know this but due to an accidedt I suffer from memory loss (really) and how many mega bites in a gigabite?

I need to condence the size of photos of my paintings to send to my painting group and am at a stand still! I used to know all this and my brain is on delete or something! Please explain as though I know nothing, I won't be offended I will appreicate your input! Thank you!

I have a new mac. Like a G5. I want to webcam/video conference with my GF, but she can't download iChat. The only program I found is mercury messenger, but there's no sound? are there any other ways other than her getting a mac? any programs? and I preferably wouldn't want to buy one. any suggestions!?!?! thanks in advance =]

I read and have read so many articles online that my head is always spinning and there is so much junk info out there from "spam" style web promoters. linking, articles, meta tags...
I look at all my competitors and many of them have sloppier HTML or clearly worse approaches but they rate at #1,2,3.. i can't even hit the top 50 for fly fishing flies on MSN!
I am trying to figure this out before loading my eshop up. I don't want to get everything listed then have to re do the entire site.

Ok, I am for real with this, and cannot find an answer anywhere on the web. Guess I do not know where to look. But, here it is.. I was sent an email by someone I consider a friend, and see that he sent it to a few people at the same time. I notice a couple of the addys he listed have a yellow smiley, showing they have instant messenger. There is not a smiley next to my name, however, even though I have IM.
Does the lack of a smiley showing my IM mean I am not on his messenger list? Or is this something that doesnt show because of some preference I chose? I notice some of the other contacts he sent this joke to have, some do not have, the IM symbol. Hope I make sense explaining this. Thanks.

while ago I received a very touching email about a baby which was burnt on a fire accident and its family needs money for its surgeries...The people of the email claimed that if i send this email to others 3 pence will be donated per email for the cause...Is this true or a trick?If yes how does it work?anyone have any idea?

I feel like my eyes are going to explode looking at these bright pages all day. (I know, I should spend less time on the pc.) But wouldn't it be easier on the eyes to be reading white text on black backgrounds, instead of the other way around? Do webdesigners just use black text on white backgrounds because people are so used to reading it that way with paper? Or is it to make the page seem brighter? (no offense, but I'd be more appreciative if they made it more health-conscious as opposed to being bright and flashy -- just like businesses to go after our most primal instincts.)

I know that youtube is being a lot stricter with copyright infringement now that google bought it. I know that im not allowed to upload copyrighted material but i was wondering if i could upload madtv clips since there are tons already on the site and they havnt been taken down! Madtv must not care since they have their own account on youtube so they must know that their show is uploaded. Does that mean that madtv doesn't care and that i should be able to upload the clips? I read an article saying that companies are going to start suing the uploaders, not youtube, but would they give a warning or should i not upload the videos to be safe? thanks!

First time buyer on ebay and I won a nintendo wii. So when I go to pay for it I try to use two different credit cards with money on it but paypal only lets me use one at a time and then it gets denied bucause the amount on one isnt enough for the total. Now I am going to be suspended for something so stupid and still not have my wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO ANGRY!!!
