Any email that claims to pay, give a gift certificate, etc, if you forward it to so many people within a certain time, etc, is simply false. Their is no way to track each individual email, know matter what the email states. The way that the internet protocols is set up regarding forwarding rules, number of hops, etc, makes tracking emails extremely, if not, impossible.

This is not true. Even if there is an actual family whose baby was burned in a fire, sending emails to people will do nothing.
