I have been hearing hearing all AOL is free but when I tried getting it, I had to have a credit card.

AOL is highly priced broadband (in the UK) and so amateurish like some 8 yerar old designed it (glad i kicked it into touch)

aol is a subscription paid Isp, they do broadband access for about £15pm.

Make sure you use Aol9 as that is the latest version.

AOL's (bloated, overpriced) internet service isn't free, but all of their services like email, videos.aol.com, instant messaging, etc are free now.

^^^ Hey buddy, here in America, AOL is Dial-Up and Broadband service, he's referring the old dial-up one.
