Consumer Reports says Juno. Before I commit to a subscription to PC magazine to get *their* review, I thought I'd ask you kind folks around here for your opinions on dialup services. (Yes, I know I should go for broadband, but I'd just as soon spend the money on other necessities if I can get away with it...) Earthlink in my experience really digs into the system and PeoplePC insists on running *Their* software, to which I object: others?

I would go with consumer reports. However, I used sbc yahoo, and was pretty happy. Stay away from netzero. I read a review in pc world that said that netzero will wait until a man gets to pluto before the let you cancel your subscription.

It is a better idea to check first which ISP offers dial-up in your area.
For example, Netzero and Earthlink aren't available in my area (Toronto).
