I sold a designer item on ebay recently. The customer paid a fair but not a huge price. They now say they are disappointed and doubt the item is genuine. They asked for a receipt to prove that it was. The item was a gift and i have no receipt. To the best of my knowledge it was an authentic item and i sold it with all packaging (which looks genuine to me!) but i am not an expert. The customer read my full description on ebay and saw two photographs. I have said that i am sorry they are disappointed. I do not see what else i can do, except i could leave them positive feedback, and hope they dont leave me negative. At present i have full 100% positive feedback. They are talking about taking the item into the store to have them check if it is genuine. If they do, and it is not, where do i stand? I sold it in good faith. Genuine, helpful responses only please.
